January Nonfiction: I chose Birding Without Borders by Noah Strycker from Eugene OR. The book chronicles his 2015 trip around the world across 41 countries on all 7 continents in 365 days. He spotted 6,042 species. It's not the greatest prose nor the greatest adventure but to me a fascinating read. The reading was slow because I spent a lot of time on the ebird.org website (The Cornell Lab of Ornithology) to check out photos of the different species. Surfing Canoes
